Cuomo calls Jobs Express ‘major success’

More than 44,000 individuals have found work with 8,000 employers through the state”™s “Jobs Express” website since its launch last October, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said last week.

The website currently lists 71,000 job openings, and features videos that offer advice to job seekers as well as an electronic job-matching tool known as “Skills Matching and Referral Technology” that helps to generate job leads.

Job listings are updated daily by the state Department of Labor.
