Cross County Shopping Center has launched a marketing campaign to highlight new retailers and its offerings for the holiday season.
Shopping center managers said the campaign includes advertisements highlighting the center’s retailers as well as an online survey for shoppers to rate their shopping experience through the web and the Cross County’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Mall officials said upgrades will be made to LED lights in its parking lots and underground tunnel by December, including the addition of 363 light fixtures.
“This campaign is designed to capture the personality of Cross County Shopping Center, while also celebrating the identity of our shoppers,” said Liz Pollack, senior marketing manager ross County Shopping Center. “Cross County Shopping Center is more than just a mall.”
 mall underwent a $250 million renovation in 2011.
Opened in 1954 as the country’s first open-air mall, Cross County Shopping Center includes more than 70 retail stores and about 1 million square feet of retail space. Its owner, Brooks Shopping Centers LLC, of Freehold, New Jersey, completed a $250 million renovation in 2011. Cross County is managed by Macerich Co., headquartered in  Santa Barbara, California.
