The Connecticut chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth holds its annual “Investment Banking and Intermediary Expo” ”“ billed as a private-equity expo ”“ Friday, March 4, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Stamford Marriott Hotel and Spa.
The group”™s usual panel-themed meeting will for the first time feature exhibits.
More than 250 attendees ”“ termed “middle-market dealmakers” by ACG ”“ are expected to attend. Those dealmakers include “private-equity professionals, investment bankers, lenders, corporate development officers, lawyers and other service providers focused on corporate growth and mergers and acquisitions.”
“In a role-reversal from our usual private-equity expo, this year intermediaries will have their own exhibit tables and be open for discussions about opportunities they are currently working on as well as industries and companies in which they have a particular specialty,” said Mark Campbell, ACG”™s Connecticut president and a partner at BlumShapiro and Co. PC, an advisory firm with offices in Shelton.
The list of inaugural exhibitors includes Belden Hill Partners; Bruderman Brothers LLC; Carter Morse & Mathias; First Hill Partners; Lyons Solutions LLC; Osage Advisors LLC; Rockport Investment Partners; TrueNorth Capital Partners LLC; VR Business Sales; Westbury Group; and Young America Capital.
The ACG dates to 1954 and counts 300 Connecticut businesspersons among its ranks.
