Women Helping Women, a program of Westchester Jewish Community Services, will host a seminar promoting job opportunities for the new Tappan Zee Bridge project.
Brian Conybeare, special advisor to Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo for the project, will be on hand to discuss the design team, sub-contractor opportunities and give an overview of the bridge. Conybeare is expected to talk about the advantages of the new bridge including the expectation of improved accessibility and efficiency the Tappan Zee will offer once it’s complete.
Kelly MacMillan, a point person focused on employment opportunities for the Tappan Zee project, will discuss the jobs the bridge project will bring to the Hudson Valley.
The event will be held Feb. 7 at the Greenburgh Library. For information, call Westchester Jewish Community Services at 914-761-0600, ext. 308
