Skanska USA, with an office in New Haven, recently received a $149 million contract to build a new 197,000 square-foot medical specialty building for Stamford Hospital.
The building will be constructed on Stamford Hospital”™s existing campus. Construction is underway and expected for completion in spring 2016. Skanska is also building the new Stamford Hospital at a cost of $450 million, with completion expected in 2016.
Skanska began construction on the renovation and expansion project for Stamford Hospital in 2012. The new medical specialty building will be constructed on the existing Stamford Hospital Campus.
