Building and Realty Institute of Westchester and the Mid-Hudson Region, one of the largest construction, development and real estate trade associations in the state, celebrated 70 years in business last week.
The Armonk-based association threw a party recently to celebrate the occasion at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle.
BRI has more than 1,500 members, primarily in Westchester. That includes construction companies, homebuilders, landlords, coop and condo presidents and board members, sponsors and property managers.
“It is this great variety and diversity, this incomparable depth and breadth of membership, that gives the BRI its strength and potential for future growth,” said Albert A. Annunziata, BRI’s executive director.
