A new group of startup businesses have been selected to participate in Westchester County’s Element 46 Tech Accelerator program. The program provides participating startups with business education programs, mentoring, connections to potential investors and other entrepreneurs and support from the Element 46 staff.
“We continue to see a highly competitive pool of tech startups applying to the Element 46 Tech Accelerator,” Bridget Gibbons, the county’s director of economic development said. “The participants chosen for this cohort are innovative, motivated and invested in growing their ventures in Westchester County. We look forward to working alongside them over the coming weeks and witnessing their future successes.
According to Westchester County Executive George Latimer, The Element 46 Tech Accelerator is a dynamic program designed to support cutting-edge tech entrepreneurs who are looking to grow their business in Westchester County. We are excited to welcome this dynamic group of startups into our accelerator program and learn more about each of their ventures.
- Selected to participate in the latest round of Element 46 activities are:
- Andro, which is located in Yonkers and provides university-supported financial services for international students studying at American colleges;
- CheckRare, which is located in Hastings-on-Hudson and is an internet and learning platform focused on rare diseases;
- FMR Wellness of Scarsdale, which offers customized online nutrition libraries for medical practices whose patients do not have access to a registered dietitian;
- Jotto of Pleasantville, an app to help distribute user-created video;
- Latte, located in White Plains, which connects people with mentors for their careers;
- LifeStream Digital Innovations LLC of Rye Brook, which helps people deal with educational and job applications;
- Livdao in New Rochelle, helping students obtain furniture they need;
- Mamaroneck’s Paypa Plane, which helps banks and enterprises create relationships with their customers;
- Picsello, which is in Larchmont and helps professional photographers conduct their business;
- Anodet, in Hastings-on-Hudson, which is involved in handling security video and data;
- Westchester Therapy in Scarsdale which helps bring together therapists and clients.
This is the third cohort of startup selected for Element 46. The program is produced in partnership with Cela Innovation, experts in tech accelerator programming and operations. Cela is based in New York City and was founded in 2016 by John Lynn.
