The law firms Harris Beach PLLC and Murtha Cullina LLP have launched their new combined firm Harris Beach Murtha, which has more than 250 lawyers working in 16 offices in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and the District of Columbia.
The plan to merge was announced last May. Harris Beach had been serving clients through its offices in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Ithaca, Saratoga Springs, Albany, White Plains, Long Island and New York City, as well as New Haven, Washington D.C. and Newark. Murtha Cullina had been operating at offices in Boston, Stamford, New Haven, Hartford, and White Plains.
Chris Jagel will serve as the CEO of Harris Beach Murtha, and Andy Corea, who served as Murtha Cullina’s Managing Partner for four years, will serve on the firm’s Management Committee.
