Westchester County has selected 12 startup companies to join its program designed to help new businesses get established in the county that’s known Element 46 Tech Accelerator Powered by Quay Acceleration.
In addition to receiving guidance on developing their businesses the company principals will have the opportunity to pitch their venture to a room of investors, technology experts, press representatives, government officials, and other key contacts.
Westchester County Executive George Latimer said, “Westchester County is proud of its growing community of entrepreneurs and looks forward to supporting these ventures during their growth journeys.”
According to the county’s Director of Economic Development, Bridget Gibbons, “The ventures chosen for this cohort are solving problems and advancing industries. We are proud to offer an innovative and engaging program that helps entrepreneurs scale and look forward to working with this group of dynamic entrepreneurs.”
Gibbons’ colleague Deborah Novick, who is director of entrepreneurship and innovation, explained that the program’s core elements are education, mentorship, and networking.
The new startups for the fall session of the program are:
ACQUA Solutions of Yonkers, which provides energy-efficient, sustainable water treatment technologies.
Advanced GP of Dobbs Ferry, which is an artificial intelligence company that provides AI solutions customized for investment management.
Alline of Yorktown, which providing step-by-step guidance to small businesses in developing a customized marketing plan tailored to their business, leveraging artificial intelligence to customize marketing strategies.
Astrabeam LLC of Scarsdale, which builds radar sensors for autonomous mobile robot manufacturers.
Augie of White Plains, which has developed a video platform.
Curation Lounge of Mount Vernon, which uses technology to make wardrobe recommendations.
DIYBook in Larchmont that helps aspiring authors with their books.
Global Key Solutions Group of White Plains that helps pharmaceutical companies meet FDA requirements.
Griz Inc. in Rye Brook that has a platform to help college and university students deal with stress.
Portelle Inc of Eastchester that offers a platform supporting women-owned e-commerce businesses.
Tangible Results, Inc. dba VibroAcousticsNY of New Rochelle that has a product to helps those suffering from PTSD or in high-stress occupations, as well as first responders.
ZeroWheel, Inc. of Armonk that has a device to help fitness enthusiasts and athletes with core workouts.
