On June 15 SCORE Fairfield County announced that it was the recipient of a Community Impact Grant from Eversource.
SCORE is a nationwide organization aids entrepreneurs and rising business leaders by partnering them with experienced leaders from across almost every industry who can provide mentorship and well-seasoned insight about any challenges to overcome.
The Fairfield County chapter of SCORE alone has played a part in launching 164 businesses.
“We are incredibly appreciative to be awarded this Community Impact Grant. This grant from Eversource will help the Fairfield County Chapter continue serving the entrepreneur community with mentoring and educational support,” said Tim Ryan a representative of SCORE who accepted the grant award from Eversource.
Eversource Energy, the regional provider of electricity and water to communities across New England provides Community Impact Grants to organizations across its coverage area that make important contributions to their communities.
“The SCORE Fairfield County Chapter does great work for the community, and we appreciate the opportunity to support their efforts,” said Christopher Farrell, Community Relations & Economic Development Specialist with Eversource.
