Southport-based commercial real estate brokerage Angel Commercial announced on June 5 the sale of 135 East Washington Avenue in Bridgeport for $1.4 million.
“This transaction highlights the continued demand for well-located industrial properties in Bridgeport,” said Jon Angel, President of Angel Commercial, who acted as the sole broker in this transaction. “The combination of its strategic location, extensive features, and outside storage opportunity made this an attractive acquisition for A Royal Flush.”
The property was owned by the Peter G Standish Revocable Trust, which had previously leased the 13,176 square-foot building on 2 acres to A Royal Flush, which used the space to manufacture portable hand washing and sanitizing stations as well as distribute portable bathroom facilities for rental purposes.
The property, which also previously served as the home of the Coastal Pallet Corporation, was part of litigation involving a zoning dispute in 2020.
The strategically situated property abuts the Pequonnock River and is currently zoned as Mixed Use-Light Industrial.
