W.R. Berkley Corp., a Greenwich-based financial services company, recently named John M. Goodwin as president of Berkley Risk Administrators Company L.L.C. in Minnesota. Goodwin will succeed J. Michael Foley, who was named chairman of Berkley Risk.Â
Berkley Risk, a national provider of alternative risk management services, designs, implements and manages programs to help customers control their total cost of risk, according to a W.R. Berkley press release.
Goodwin, who joined the company in 2012, has more than 25 years of experience in the property casualty insurance industry in commercial specialty products and services. He recently served as executive vice president of Berkley Risk after leading a number of business units at other large property casualty insurers.
“Jack has extensive experience leading large teams in developing risk solutions for customers,” said William R. Berkley, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of W.R. Berkley Corp.
