Pace University and Urban Land Institute Westchester/Fairfield will sponsor a campus conference Thursday on trends in sustainable development and financing of major construction projects.
The conference will be from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Kessel Student Center on Pace’s Pleasantville campus, where the university last fall broke ground on a $100 million development project. The conference will focus on the university”™s master plan to reposition its Pleasantville campus.
Conference panelists will include Robert Almon, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Pace University; Jim Coleman, executive director of the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency and Westchester County Local Development Corp.; William J. McGrath, senior vice president and chief operating officer of Pace; and Andy Tung, partner of Divney Tung Schwalbe L.L.P., the land use planning firm in White Plains. Laurence Gottleib, president and CEO of Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp., will be the moderator.
The panel discussion is scheduled for 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, followed by a 45-minute walking tour of the campus.
