The Bridgeport Regional Business Council is teaming with its member Stratford Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Small Business Administration for an event Wednesday, from 5 to 7 p.m., titled “Financing Your Small Business: Finding capital for a small business is not impossible.” The site is the Lovell Room of the Stratford Library, 2203 Main St., Stratford.
Topics will include the traditional (SBA’s guaranteed loan program) and the nontraditional (SBA’s micro-loan program) methods of financing, what lenders look for and understanding a credit report.
Besides the Stratford Chamber of Commerce and the BRBC, the SBA’s Connecticut District Office and The Milford Bank are also sponsors. The event is free.
