The Reggie Pink Harley-Davidson website as of presstime was advertising sales on bike accessories and Harley Davidson clothing. The showroom at 300 Central Park Ave. in White Plains told another story.
The store on March 26 was locked; there was no merchandise visible within. Calls seeking comment were not returned.
On March 23, Pink filed a voluntary Chapter 11 petition in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York in White Plains.
The family run business is legendary in the world of motorcycling. Reggie Pink in 1925 rode a British BSA motorcycle around Central Park 172.8 miles on a single gallon of gas. The first Reggie Pink store started in the Bronx in 1927. Pink first opened in White Plains in 1948.

The new facility opened in the summer of 2007 directly across the street from the old Reggie Pink store. At the time of a February 2008 store profile, the store employed 17 on a full-time basis across departments for sales, clothes, accessories, parts, repairs and administration.
