Fairfield-based Patriot Bank, N.A. celebrated the grand opening of its new Darien branch on 233 Post Road with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 7.
The celebration included dignitaries and leaders including Darien First Selectman Jayme Stevenson, Connecticut Senior Development Specialist Lindy Lee Gold and Patriot Bank Chairman Michael Carrazza and President and CEO Ken Neilson.
“Patriot Bank”™s mission as a community bank extends far beyond a traditional banking relationship by supporting local nonprofit organizations, particularly those organizations dedicated to the needs of our children,” Stevenson said. It ”˜takes a village”™ to care for our families, friends and neighbors.”
The full-service branch is part of the bank’s focus on small and local business. It will offer a community event center with teleconferencing capabilities for customer use, as well as digital signage in the lobby that spotlights local nonprofits, small businesses and community networking events. There are also two 24-hour drive-up ATMs in addition to one in the vestibule.
“Patriot Bank”™s new concept banking is rooted in growing and supporting local communities,” Susan Neilson, executive vice president and COO of Patriot Bank, said. “Darien is a vibrant town with a significant economic impact supported by local business.”
