Odeon Capital Group has opened an office in Greenwich.
Odeon is a New York-based independent fixed income broker with investment banking and research services. The new location will offer the companies full services as a provider of sales and trading solutions in the high yield and distressed debt spaces.
“We are proud to be among the big Wall Street players that have operations in the Greenwich area and are excited to have expanded our hiring potential to this attractive location,” said Evan Schwartzberg, CEO of Odeon. “Given the success of other financial services firms in southern Fairfield County, it seemed like a natural move for expansion.”
Odeon will be located in Greenwich Office Park off West Putnam Avenue and Weaver Street in Greenwich.
Schwartzberg said to streamline the office”™s trading, research and sales capabilities, Odeon has hired two industry veterans, Robert Grimm and David Marsh, whose expertise includes a focus on the high yield trading space. Grimm will serve as the Greenwich locations head of corporate trading and Marsh will serve as a research analyst focusing on distressed and high yield corporate bonds. The two new hires were formerly employees of Greenwich-based McMahan Securities.
The new Greenwich office is the fifth location for Odeon across the U.S. and the United Kingdom, and the fourth expansion for the New York-based firm since June.
