The Greenwich-based private equity firm L Catterton has hired Peter Chang as managing partner and co-head of private credit.
In his new role, Chang will team with Shahab Rashid (who joined L Catterton last year) to launch a private credit platform and co-lead the firm’s direct lending strategy. Rashid and Chang worked together for nearly 12 years at Oaktree Capital Management, where the latter was most recently co-portfolio manager, managing director and SBIC principal in the U.S. private debt strategy.
