Chappaqua resident Pamela Thomas-Graham has been shuttling between Zurich, Switzerland, and New York this month in her new role as chief talent, branding and communications officer at Credit Suisse.
A former CEO and chairman of CNBC and former group president at Liz Claiborne, Thomas-Graham was appointed to the executive boards of both Credit Suisse Group A.G. and Credit Suisse. In her newly created position with the 154-year-old Swiss banking firm, she has global responsibility for human resources, corporate communications, corporate branding and advertising. She reports to Credit Suisse CEO Brady Dougan.

Thomas-Graham most recently was a managing director in the private equity group of Angelo, Gordon & Co. in New York. For 10 years she was an associate and later a partner at McKinsey & Co. A graduate of Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School, where she served on the Harvard Law Review, she also has written a series of five mystery novels set on Ivy League campuses.

A native of Detroit, Thomas-Graham is married to attorney and author Lawrence O. Graham. The couple has three children.
