BranchServ adds Checkpoint unit

Custom Vault Corp. is acquiring CheckView Banking Security Solutions, a division of Checkpoint Systems, with Custom Vault adding it to its BranchServ division in Bethel.

The companies did not state financial terms.

Created in 1999, BranchServ provides security equipment and services for more than 7,500 bank branches and credit unions nationwide, with the company saying it is the fastest-growing provider in the industry.

Richmond, Va.-based CheckView products include vaults, safes, drive-in window installations, and electronic security like alarms and access control systems. The business adds 50 employees to BranchServ, which has 120 people.

Checkpoint is based in Thorofare, N.J.
