Tradewind Aviation announced it will not be conducting its seasonal service between Westchester County Airport and Newport, Rhode Island.
The Oxford, Connecticut-based company began its seasonal service in 2021, which flew from the Million Air terminal at the White Plains-based airport to Newport State Airport in Middletown, Rhode Island, located 10 minutes from Newport; the flights averaged 35 minutes.
The company said its decision was based on a review of its strategic goals and other operational considerations. Tradewind Aviation added that it will continue to offer private charter flights between the two airports.
