BermudAir, a start-up carrier which is the first Bermuda-based airline with year-round service, has received the green light from the U.S. Department of Transportation to begin service to and from Westchester County Airport.
The connection between Bermuda”™s LF Wade International Airport and the White Plains-based Westchester County Airport will begin on Aug. 31, with flights six days a week.
BermudAir’s Embraer E175 aircraft begin service with a standard 88-seat configuration, although only 44 seats will be sold for each flight to ensure a comfortable and spacious in-flight experience; an “Aisle Class” configuration will 30 occupied seats per flight will begin in November. All flights include free Wi-Fi and entertainment and at least one complimentary checked bag (or more, depending on fare).
