The Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA), which oversees development at both Bradley International Airport and other airports owned by the state, announced that they are gearing up for a busy travel season.
According to a press release from the CAA, between April 3 and April 14 more than 125,000 people are expected to depart from Bradley International, with mornings between 4 and 7am being the busiest time.
“Our list of nonstop flights has grown to more than forty destinations thanks to the eleven airlines that fly out of Bradley International Airport,” said Kevin A. Dillon, A.A.E., Executive Director of the CAA in a statement. “With so many travel options, it is no surprise that we’re expecting a large volume of individuals to fly for their spring vacations.”
In anticipation of the high volume of travelers, the CAA also reminded those with flights that they should take into account time to find parking, plan for at least 90 minutes spent in security checkpoints, and double check the information found here to ensure a smooth screening.
