Avelo Airlines announced on July 2 that its current summer flight schedule, servicing the US East Coast, will be extended through January 7, 2025.
The airline also announced that it would double the number of flights between Tweed New Haven Regional Airport and Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan starting in November.
The extended scheduling will help travelers plan their trips further in advance and indicates growing interest in the use of Tweed New Haven as a key transportation link for national air travel. Avelo’s fares, as low as $41 for one way tickets on some routes, are also expected to attract customers.
Avelo Airlines Head of Commercial Trevor Yealy said, “The winter and holiday season is right around the corner, and we are excited to extend Avelo’s East Coast flight schedule through January 7. With Avelo’s everyday low fares and industry-leading reliability, now is the perfect time for travelers to get a head start on booking their winter vacation or long-weekend getaway. Avelo offers somewhere for everyone – from tropical white-sand beaches to outdoor adventure destinations, to cultural and entertainment hotspots and more.”
