Aer Lingus resumed nonstop service from Bradley International Airport to Dublin, Ireland.
The airline”™s first flight departed yesterday at 6:00 p.m., and service will continue on a daily basis through the end of October. Aer Lingus served Bradley from 2016 until the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted operations.
“After more than two years it”™s great to be back flying back to Hartford,” said Aer Lingus CEO Lynne Embleton. “Our daily flights, from and through Dublin, will bring travelers from Ireland, the UK and Europe into the center of Connecticut which is home to global businesses and recognized as the insurance capital of the world. As the only European airline operating out of Hartford, we also offer a unique service to U.S. passengers, flying them directly on our non-stop service to Dublin, and through our Dublin hub, connecting them onwards to the most popular U.K. and European destinations.”
