Not everyone who’s attending the Tuesday, Nov. 12 benefit concert for ArtsWestchester, featuring Jakob Dylan and The Wallflowers at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, will be at the 6:30 p.m. VIP reception honoring Ken Jenkins, Deputy County Executive, Westchester County. The neighboring Sonora restaurant wants to cover your pre-concert dining needs with a prix-fixe menu that evening.
Sonora’s special menu, featuring chef Rafael Palomino’s signature Latin American flavors, includes a glass of red mango or white wine basil and strawberry sangria, paired with a choice of four paellas. Options include the Paella de Tierra, a hearty dish with duck confit, pork tenderloin, chicken, chorizo and rice; a Vegan Paella with farro, pumpkin, roasted Brussels sprouts, beets, cauliflower and tofu aioli; the Paella Negra with shrimp, squid, cuttlefish and squid ink; or the signature Seafood Paella with shrimp, clams, mussels, chorizo and saffron sofrito sauce.
The prix-fixe menu is $36.95 per person.
Palomino opened Sonora in 1999 to offer a rich culinary journey through Latin America and Spain, including the flavors of his native Bogotá, Colombia.
