New Canaan Library is launching its inaugural documentary film festival next month.
Films will be shown on select Thursdays and Sundays in January and February.
This debut year’s theme is the environment: how we interact with it, learn from it, and preserve ”“ or destroy ”“ it. Award-winning and thought-provoking films from around the world will be shown for a six-week run on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and on Sundays at 2 p.m. in the Adrian Lamb Room.
A special re-screening of the most popular films will be held Saturday, Feb. 27. Following are the films to be screened and full descriptions of each film are available on the Library’s website.
