The Entertainment Consumers Association (ECA) in Wilton has partnered with Target Corp. to gain members.
“We are thrilled with the opportunity to expand our voice and offer our numerous membership benefits to a broader base of gamers and consumers that shop online at Target,” said Heather Ellertson, vice president of marketing for the ECA.

“Teaming up with these major retailers will give the ECA an even greater opportunity to speak directly with the steadily increasing number of video game players today.”
The ECA is a non-profit membership organization that represents gamers in the United States and Canada.
Under the terms of the agreement, ECA membership cards are now available for purchase at Target.com. Target joins Walmart.com, Amazon.com and the Army and Air Force Exchange Service website as the latest major retailer to offer ECA memberships to their customers.
Ellertson said with membership, entertainment consumers can connect with other gamers, receive information about industry issues and events, explore career and educational opportunities in gaming, voice their feedback on issues and products, and receive discounts on games-related purchases and rentals.
