You can”™t miss Benjamin Krevolin. He”™s the guy with the distinctive bow tie and ready smile who”™s been president of the Dutchess County Arts Council for the past eight years.
Now, he”™s switching gears, taking a position as associate director of leadership gifts in the Department of Development and Alumni Affairs at Vassar College and will be working with the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center, “a jewel box,” says Krevolin.
The Germantown resident has been involved in the arts for more than 25 years and is looking forward to working at his alma mater.
“It”™s a very exciting opportunity for me,” he said. “The Loeb Art Center has an amazing collection and a first-rate group of curators.”
Krevolin has been involved with Vassar College in one form or another since graduation.
“I”™ve returned on a number of occasions as an artist, a producer, a fundraiser and an administrator. It”™s a great opportunity for me and a good time for the DAC as well.”
Krevolin will be resigning from the Arts Council as of June 17.  An executive committee is putting together a search committee for his replacement. He”™ll begin his new position at Vassar July 18.
“It”™s just one more chapter in my continuing commitment to the arts. I”™m just moving across town and will remain extremely involved in the arts in Dutchess.”
