Arc of Westchester”™s gallery265 will be honored with the Community Arts Award for its contribution to the arts community at the ArtsWestchester annual award luncheon in White Plains April 4.
The ArtsWestchester Award program “acknowledges individuals and organizations whose vision, commitment and leadership enrich Westchester, its communities, and its citizens.”
Arc of Westchester”™s gallery265 is a permanent space  in the Gleeson-Israel Gateway Center in Hawthorne. It is dedicated to the creative accomplishments of individuals with developmental disabilities and displays the work created through Arc of Westchester.
“The ArtsWestchester Awards recognize the overwhelming amount of talent that our county has to offer,” ArtsWestchester CEO Janet Langsam said. “This event will be a time to recognize the well-deserved artists and organizations that help to improve our quality of life here in Westchester.”
The ArtsWestchester 2013 Arts Award Luncheon will take place Thursday, April 4, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains. The event opens with a reception at noon, followed by the luncheon and awards presentation at 12:30 p.m. Tickets for the luncheon may be bought through ArtsWestchester.
