Bermuda’s airline BermudAir has reversed its decision to end flights to and from Westchester County Airport (HPN). The airline had said that when it launched service this month to and from Newark Liberty International (EWR) and LaGuardia (LGA) airports it would end the Westchester service. It previously had said that the final day of service at Westchester would be Oct. 24.

“Adding service to LaGuardia and Newark is a significant milestone for BermudAir,” said Adam Scott, founder and CEO of BermudAir. “At the same time, many of our most loyal and frequent travelers from Westchester and Fairfield counties spoke up and we listened. With the launch of our ‘New York Triangle,’ we’re offering nonstop flights from three of the most convenient New York City–area airports, providing leisure and business travelers alike with more flexibility and convenient access to Bermuda.”
Service from White Plains will be operated three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, departing Westchester at 6 p.m., landing in Bermuda at 9:05 p.m., with return flights from Bermuda leaving at 3:55 p.m., arriving at HPN at 5 p.m. Bermuda is in the Atlantic time zone while Westchester is in the Eastern time zone. Eastern time is one hour behind Atlantic time.
BermudAir calls the service to HPN, EWR and LGA its “New York Triangle,” as opposed to calling it a “Bermuda Triangle.” The airline also will be serving Boston, Baltimore/Washington, Raleigh-Durham, Richmond and Orlando, as well as Toronto, Montreal and Halifax in Canada.
BermudAir operates Embraer E175 and E190 aircraft.
