For the second year, Danbury-based Shelter Rock Winery, which calls itself the county”™s first wine-making club and the state’s first urban winery, is seeking members to invest in next year’s wine.
The wines of 2015 arrived this month. The winery offered no reviews, but said the wines are popular for personal consumption and as gifts. The grapes come from California.
Investors until Aug. 16 can buy a case-worth or a barrelful ”“ 24 cases ”“ of wine at a special rate. Barrels can be shared by up to six parties.
