RHYS Commercial real estate firm of Stamford has started 2016 with multiple new leases signed at 9 West Broad Street in Stamford, bringing more finance and technology companies to downtown.
Since being hired as the exclusive leasing agents for the building after owners Westport Capital Partners LLC and Forstone Capital of Darien took possession of the property in 2013, RHYS has secured 20 leases taking the building from less than 3 percent occupied to almost 70 percent leased.
So far this year, the RHYS has signed 5 leases, adding a diverse group of five new tenants including technology and finance organizations.
The new tenants are TEKSystems, BlackStratus, MD SolarSciences, Chief Executive Group and Small Business Community Capital.
Of the 200,000 square feet of rentable space, 130,000 square feet are now occupied.
