Balducci”™s Food Lover”™s Market is moving into Rye Ridge Shopping Center in Rye Brook.
The upscale market signed a long-term lease to occupy the 18,000-square-foot space in the plaza that was previously occupied by D”™Agostino Supermarket. The move was recently announced by Win Properties, managers of the shopping center.
Balducci”™s plans to open the location, which will be its sixth in the U.S., in the fall. Balducci”™s currently has locations in thsi area in Westport, Greenwich and Scarsdale. The chain manages stores in New York, Connecticut, Maryland and Virginia.
“The inclusion of a superior specialty gourmet grocer like Balducci”™s was needed to complete the transition of the shopping center and will benefit the community for a very long time,” said Craig Samson, senior vice president of Win Properties.
The 230,000-square-foot Rye Ridge Shopping Center includes a shopping center as well as professional offices. Tenants include Chipotle Mexican Grill, Starbucks, retailer Lester”™s, Chase Bank, locally-owned restaurant Fortina and The Wine Cellar.
