Private-sector leaders in banking, law, real estate, publishing and workforce training will share their views of key economic trends in the year ahead at the Westchester County Association”™s 2016 Economic Forecast Breakfast on Thursday, Jan. 7, at the Westchester Marriott Hotel in Tarrytown.
Tickets for the annual event, which will run from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., are $75 for WCA members and $90 for non-members. Guests may register at westchester.org. Advance registration is recommended.
Leading off the roster of speakers, Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino will outline his priorities for 2016 in county government. He will be followed by Jack Kopnisky, president and CEO of Sterling National Bank and Sterling Bancorp, who spearheaded Sterling”™s merger in 2015 with Hudson Valley Holding Corp. to form a metropolitan regional bank with approximately $11.2 billion in assets.
A roundtable discussion will follow the banker”™s remarks. It will include Barbara Benson, assistant managing editor of Crain”™s New York Business; Guy Liebler, president of Simone Healthcare Development; John Flannery, partner at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP, and Amy Allen. WCA vice president and executive director of its Hudson Valley Workforce Academy.
