Presidential historian and political analyst Mark Halperin will be the featured speaker at The Business Council of Westchester’s 2015 annual dinner Oct. 27, the council announced.
Halperin, who serves as managing editor of Bloomberg Politics and has covered every American election since 1988, will offer insights on the 2016 presidential election at the dinner, which will be held at the Hilton Westchester Hotel in Rye Brook.
Business Council of Westchester President and CEO Marsha Gordon said the council was “honored” to have Halperin speak at the event, and added the council will plan to focus on the national and state political scene this fall.
“This is a unique opportunity for the business community to get an exclusive insider look at the presidential race from the most prominent presidential campaign reporter in the country,” Gordon said. “We look forward to hearing his keen insights on what is shaping up to be one of the most exciting and unpredictable presidential campaigns in recent memory.”
Halperin’s best-selling book, Game Change, was adapted as an HBO film in 2012. He serves as a contributor to MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
