Austin McChord, president and CEO of Norwalk-based Datto Inc., will speak at a Startup Grind Greenwich fireside chat Tuesday.
The event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at 75 Holly Hill Lane.
McChord is the chief innovator and major shareholder at Datto, a data backup and disaster recovery business. He was named to this year”™s Forbes 30 under 30 list.
McChord declined a $100 million offer for his company and went on to raise $25 million from venture capital firm General Catalyst Partners in 2013, according to Forbes. Datto has grown to nearly $100 million, a 32-fold increase since 2010, and has been listed on the Inc. 500 list for three consecutive years. With 400-plus employees, Datto supports 5 million clients worldwide.
