Posh Tomato, a Brooklyn-based pizza franchise, said this month it is seeking franchisees to open restaurants across the country, including in The Westchester in White Plains.
In a press release, the company said total investments, including the initial franchise fees and startup costs, to become a franchisee range from $170,000 to $390,000. Posh Tomato said it is also seeking franchisees for future locations in Manhattan’s Seaport District, Brooklyn, Miami, Bloomington, Minn., and Edison and East Rutherford in New Jersey. The company said it has been preapproved for the White Plains location.
“Our versatile and attractive shop design allows us to fit Posh Tomato in virtually any space,” said Solomon Sarway, co-founder of Posh Tomato. “Developers are anxious to build our customizable pizza concept in these top-notch locations to meet guests”™ demand for a uniquely tailored meal made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients in a chic dining environment.”
Posh Tomato, founded by brothers Solomon, Morris and Ike Sarway in 2011, has three restaurants in Brooklyn and one each in Connecticut and New Jersey. Its menu includes thin-crust pizzas with homemade sauces and cheeses, salads and desserts.
The Westchester in White Plains has 11 restaurants and eateries.
