EcoLogic Energy Solutions, a Stamford-based installer of spray foam and fiberglass insulation, was acquired by Ohio-based Installed Building Products Inc. EcoLogic serves residential and commercial markets in the Connecticut, New York and northern New Jersey area.
Installed Building Products, a publicly traded company, is an installer of insulation and other complementary building products. It services customers through its national network of branch locations that includes US Insulation Corp. in Danbury.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“The acquisition of EcoLogic strengthens our capabilities in a range of residential and commercial categories and reinforces our commitment to providing exceptional service to customers in the New York metropolitan area,” Jeff Edwards, chairman and CEO of Installed Building Products, said in a statement.
