More than 1,000 new college graduates are expected to attend RecruitCT in Trumbull this week, a Fairfield County job fair featuring more than 60 organizations and 780 open jobs.
Aflac, Pitney Bowes, Prudential and Verizon are among the private sector employers that will be on-hand in addition to government and municipal organizations like the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services and the Norwalk police department.
Jobs will be available in a wide range of industries, from finance, engineering and health care to teaching, hospitality and manufacturing.
The event is designed to retain the state”™s talent from its pool of graduates from Connecticut”™s 30-plus colleges and universities.
Produced in partnership with the Connecticut Business & Industry Association and the CT20x17 campaign to strengthen the state’s economy, the job fair is free for job seekers.
RecruitCT is Wednesday, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Trumbull Marriott.
