ITT Corp. recently launched a line of hygienic diaphragm valves under its Engineered Valves brand. The new line of EnviZion valves is designed to reduce maintenance time and cost of ownership for biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, according to the White Plains-based company.
“The EnviZion valve supports the BioPharm industry”™s goals to increase productivity and improve reliability, making it an ideal solution for our customers,” said Aris Chicles, president of ITT”™s Industrial Process business, in a press release.
According to the press release, the EnviZion valve is installed in about three minutes without using any special tools.
ITT”™s Engineered Valves business manufactures  industrial and hygienic valves for chemical processing, power generation, pulp and paper, mining, pharmaceutical businesses and bioprocessing.
