With a chilly, cheery nod to serendipity, the Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce”™s January breakfast networking event is at SoNo Ice House, the professional-grade skating facility at 300 Wilson Ave., Thursday, 7:45-9 a.m.
The outside temperature should be in the teens, a veritable heat wave.
The SoNo Ice House features two rinks: one an official National Hockey League-sized rink and the other a training rink.
The chamber event could well be unique in its appeal: “Come network, enjoy breakfast, check out this great facility and show off your triple axel.”
The cost to members is $15.
Established in 1889, the chamber is active in Norwalk, Darien, New Canaan, Weston, Westport and Wilton.
The SoNo Ice House also houses Athletic Edge, a modern, off-the-ice training facility specializing in high-level, sports-specific conditioning.
