Montefiore Health System this month opened its first Westchester County urgent care center at its medical group practice office in Yonkers.
Montefiore Urgent Care will provide prompt medical attention for non-life threatening illnesses or injuries at the Montefiore Medical Group Cross County office at 1010 Central Park Ave. The new facility is open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends and most holidays. No appointment is needed.
“Our goal is to keep patients healthy and to make health care easily accessible to people right in their community,” said Dr. Andrew D. Racine, senior vice president and chief medical officer at Montefiore Health System.
The urgent care center supports the Montefiore medical group”™s existing services in primary care, ophthalmology, rehabilitation, radiology, allergy, cardiology and surgery in Yonkers.
