More than 200 motorcyclists and at least as many classic car and bike owners came together to raise funds for community organizations at the eighth annual Motorcycle Ride and Classic Car Show.
There was no sign of event fatigue as this year’s rally proved the most lucrative in its history.
The charity ride is sponsored by Stratford-based Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., the largest employer in the county.
Under blue skies at Sikorsky”™s Stratford facility, participants gathered to support the Wounded Warrior Project, Community Health Charities of Connecticut and United Way.
More than $18,000 was raised for the organizations, which reportedly was a record.
