The Merritt 7 Corporate Park in Norwalk was named the office park of the year last week by the Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Building and Management Association, also known as BOMA.
Home to GE Capital, Mercer, EMCOR and several others, the six-building complex was recognized for its recent renovations and excellence in building management. In the last two years the complex has undergone substantial interior and exterior upgrades, including the addition of new Starbucks cafes, landscaping and updated lobbies.
Located off the Merritt Parkway and U.S. Route 7, the complex boasts 1.4 million square feet of Class-A office space.
The award is the most prestigious in the region, according to BOMA representatives. BOMA is an association of commercial real estate owners, developers and brokers.
