Norwalk-based Datto Inc. took top honors at the 2013 Marcum Tech Top 40 Awards recently, named the fastest-growing technology company in Connecticut.
The annual awards program, presented by Connecticut-based Marcum L.L.P., an accounting and advisory firm, and by The Connecticut Technology Council, recognizes the 40 fastest-growing technology companies in Connecticut. Criteria include revenue growth over the most recent four-year period.
A total 15 Fairfield County companies were represented in this year”™s Marcum Tech Top 40, the most from any single county in the state. Results were announced at a gala reception at the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford.
Overall winner Datto Inc. achieved revenue growth of 33,407 percent from 2009-2012. The company is a vendor of backup, disaster recovery and intelligent business continuity solutions, providing technology and support to its 5,000-plus channel partners throughout North America and Europe.
