White Plains-based ITT Corp. will work with Engineers Without Borders to address global infrastructure needs, donating $10,000 to start.
Engineers Without Borders (EWB-USA) “partners with communities around the globe to develop sustainable solutions for basic infrastructure needs.” ITT said June 24 the contribution will go toward a EWB-USA project in Usalama, Kenya.
According to ITT, the partnership could support Boulder, Colo.-based EWB-USA projects that bring solar energy health clinics, build bridges to provide access to local markets and build new schools in communities across the world.

ITT works in more than 35 countries and has sales in some 125 countries. Gross 2012 revenues were $2.2 billion.
EWB has more than 13,500 volunteer members globally, including students and professionals. It has provided services on 450 projects in 45 developing countries.
