Amtrak trains are operating on a normal schedule between New York City and Boston after service interruptions last Friday that resulted from police activity.
Amtrak had suspended service on its Acela Express and Northeast Regional lines from New York City to Boston while the manhunt for the second suspect in last week’s Boston Marathon bombings was underway.
[Editor’s note: This article was updated following an April 19 service suspension and the subsequent restoration of full service by Amtrak.]
