Participants in Connecticut’s energy-saving programs saved $53.8 million in 2012, according to the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Board.
The Home Energy Solutions program provided 500,000 homeowners and renters $27.9 million in savings with rebates, retail products and new construction programs. Meanwhile, 4,500 businesses found $25.9 million in savings through purchasing new energy-efficient equipment through financing programs and changing their consumption behaviors.
