Energize Connecticut, in partnership with Connecticut Light & Power and United Illuminating, recently announced the ninth annual eesmarts contest for students in grades K-12.
The eesmarts program is a K-12 energy efficiency and clean, renewable energy education initiative that annually invites Connecticut students to showcase their “energy smarts” about saving energy, efficient and renewable energy technologies and sustainability through various media forms. Finalists for each grade level will be honored at a special awards ceremony June 11 at the State Capitol in Hartford.
The contest is open to all students in Connecticut and the deadline for entries is April 26. For information, visit eesmarts.com/contest.
